Thank You. ****************************************************** *** You'll be responsible for the following. *** May have one or more working under your leadership. ******************************************************* OFFICE: - take care of monthly bills [utility, phone, etc] keep a proper electronic record - put in place a 'expense tracking system' . start could be a excel-work-sheet . that's kept up-to-date . and all the expenses are discussed/OKed in meetings MEETINGS: - arranges well-attendant & well-participated meetings . sends email w/ agenda . phone reminders, if necessary . takes notes & publish them - makes meetings a 'regular' event - freq decided by local members SOHNI DHARTI: - weekly SD status reports + visit for SD-1, SD-2, SD-x - bring to everybody attention what-exactly is happening there -OR- things that need a 'fix' - identifies the next place to launch SD . initiates proper email discussion . brings school people into loop - launch new SD [as agreed by the team] - take a pro-active approach wrt SD, instead of 'all-OK-approach' . bring new ideas to table . point to things that need to be 'changed/improved' LECTURE SERIES: - schedule meetings w/ faculty members at different institutes [or have a fixed schedule] ... meets faculty, one institute per week [on rotation basis] - bring back to Koshish the feedback/ideas, initiate discussion how Koshish could be more involved - arrange one well-attended lecture per month [to start w/] - where/speaker/topic are all discussed/published in advance - keep schedule 'current' MEDIA & OUTREACH: - thinks out of the box - make possible one media coverage per month - coverage = [paper/magazine/radio/tv/etc] that talks about Koshish/Projects/Etc - propose, lead email discussion & finalize the details . how to best represent [stall/talk/etc] Koshish at different 'educational' events [seminars/book-shows/etc] . make one such 'noticeable presence' possible per XXXX COMMUNICATION: - weekly detailed status report - month-end-report including financial numbers - take active part in email-discussions ... does the necessary follow-up NEW PROJECTS: - take a new project as and when assigned - prepare project plan w/ time-line - execute it TRAVEL: - visit Koshish projects in & around Karachi - willing to travel to other parts of the country on need basis
